About Us and Our Mission Statement
As a guest ambassador at a local hospital, I serve as a primary point of contact for patients, interacting daily to provide support and address their needs. Through engaging with over a thousand patients, I've gained invaluable insights into their experiences. However, a critical issue persists: a lack of effective communication between volunteers and hospital administration.
This gap is particularly detrimental because patients – especially elderly individuals unfamiliar with online feedback systems – often prefer to share their concerns with the most direct point of contact: volunteers. This valuable feedback often goes unheard, leaving a significant gap in understanding patient needs. This problem is experienced by millions of volunteers nationwide.
Our mission with this website is to bridge this communication gap, establishing a direct line between volunteers and hospital staff. This ensures that both patient concerns shared through volunteers and volunteer feedback are heard, ultimately enhancing patient care and satisfaction.
Volunteer-Admin Communication
We provide a clear communication channel between volunteers and administrators to actively manage and assess patient care, with transparent access to past reviews from both parties.
In-house Textual Analyzer
We developed a backend text analysis processor that efficiently parses volunteer rounding surveys to identify commonly shared sentiments about department performance.
Comprehensive Graphical Analysis
We have created a comprehensive graphical analysis page that provides a clear breakdown of overall hospital and departmental performance, highlighting areas for improvement and satisfaction.
